Another Night of Russia's Sky Litter: 69 Drones Down

Original version ·

Just another night where the skies turned into a giant, expensive shooting gallery thanks to Russia.

It feels like Russia is just trying to empty their warehouse of flying lawnmowers at this point. They launched a massive mix of Shahed drones, some weird knock-off replicas, and various missiles, essentially throwing everything including the kitchen sink at us.

Our air defense managed to scrub 69 of these pests out of the sky. The real kicker? They’re using everything from jet-powered drones to literal decoys that don't even do anything but beep. It’s exhausting, but honestly, it’s also a bit absurd that they think this level of spam is a military strategy.

While the focus was the coast, the hit to a foreign vessel in Odesa just proves their aim is as broken as their logic. It's a numbers game now, but the math is getting increasingly pathetic.

The sheer desperation of throwing toy planes and decoys at an entire country really shows how out of ideas the Kremlin is.

sixty-nine, nice. but in all seriousness, how much money did they burn for absolutely nothing?

at this point they are just littering our airspace with garbage. when does the supply of these cheap drones finally dry up?
+1 boringStating the obvious about supply chains is about as exciting as watching the drones fall

+1 jokeCalling it a firework show is a bit poetic, but hardly a groundbreaking observation
