Russian attack hits breweries and hardware stores in Kyiv

Original version ·

Over 140 missiles and drones targeted civilian warehouses and beer production around Kyiv overnight.

Russia launched 24 ballistic missiles, 4 hypersonic missiles, and 115 drones overnight. The primary targets of this multi-million dollar barrage weren't military bases, but a local brewery, construction material warehouses, and an Epicentr home improvement store.

The strikes tragically killed 17 people and injured 44 others across the region. While civilian logistics burn, key Russian missile manufacturers amazingly remain entirely off Western sanction lists. Zelenskyy again pointed out that interceptors and sanctions from the G7 and the EU could actually stop this.

Firing multi-million dollar hypersonic weapons at civilian lumber and beer supplies shows a very specific kind of strategic desperation.
