Another morning, another bonfire at a Rosneft refinery

Original version ·

It seems the coffee in Syzran is being brewed exclusively by incoming drones today.

The Syzran oil refinery in the Samara region decided to host an impromptu pyrotechnics show this morning. Everything is currently engulfed in flames, because apparently, Russian air defense is just a suggestion at this point.

Considering Rosneft has been struggling to keep the country fueled lately, this is quite the contribution to their production goals. It is almost like the local industry is allergic to staying in one piece.

Russian oil infrastructure is quickly becoming a very high-maintenance bonfire.
