UKRTAC manufacturing plant in Kyiv wiped out by overnight missile strike

Original version ·

The facility producing gear for our defenders is gone, but the team is reportedly staying standing.

So, the local military gear manufacturer UKRTAC took a direct hit last night. The factory and all the warehouses are completely obliterated. It’s a massive loss—years of R&D and production capacity just turned into a pile of rubble in a split second.

The founder, Severion Dangadze, posted about it today. He didn't dwell on the machinery or the walls, though. He made a point to say that everyone on the team is alive. They’re framing it as a 'character test'—they plan to rebuild and keep the operation going despite the wreckage.

It’s wild how much effort goes into building a business that supports the front line, only for it to be erased in one night by a ballistic strike. Apparently, the team is already talking about coming back stronger. The resilience is impressive, but the target on their back is a grim reminder of how this war touches everything.

Heartbreaking, but glad the team is safe.
